Kansai Airports BCP (Business Continuity Plan)

Kansai Airports has initiated “Kansai Airports BCP” to cope with any situations (all hazards) at Kansai International Airport, Osaka Itami Airport, and Kobe Airport in order to ensure the safety of our customers and airport employees, as well as emergency response and early recovery through the cooperation of the airport related organizations.
Moreover, we will make our best efforts to take appropriate measures during the emergency situations, etc, including the sharing of BCP with business owners in our airports.

Earthquake・Tsunami BCP (Business Continuity Plan)

Kansai Airports developed the Business Continuity Planning in April 2016 to protect the lives of customers and airport staff, to restore the functionality of airports promptly after disruption, and to secure its position as a regional base for disaster prevention in case of an earthquake or a tsunami.
While disseminating this planning throughout the airports, we will continue to take adequate measures in case of a disaster.

Resilience Certification Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience (Resilience Certification)

The "Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience (Resilience Certification)" is granted to companies and organizations actively engaged in business continuity. The Cabinet Secretariat's National Resilience Promotion Office established this system in February 2016 based on the "Guidelines for Certification of Organizations Contributing to National Resilience." The goal is to encourage proactive business continuity efforts among various organizations, including large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, schools, hospitals, and other entities, to strengthen the overall resilience of society. In addition, a new evaluation system was introduced in July 2018 to broaden the scope of national resilience efforts. This system includes community-based initiatives and evaluates them from the perspective of social contribution (mutual assistance).
Kansai Airports obtained business continuity certification in March 2017 and acquired both business continuity and social contribution certification in March 2025.
