Shooting at the airports

Key Points to Note

  1. Movie, TV, or photo shooting at the airports requires completing a prescribed procedure in advance. (Complete the procedure by submitting the application form for airport photography and your shooting plan at least five business days before the planned shooting. Since large-scale shooting involves advance arrangements, be sure to contact the department in charge below at least seven business days before the planned shooting.)
  2. Please be mindful of safety during your shooting so as not to inconvenience airport users.
  3. In principle, photography is not permitted within security or restricted areas (areas that are off-limits to the general public).
  4. From the viewpoint of security, photographing security checkpoints (including security equipment and security inspectors) is prohibited.
  5. Please note that photography on airport roads requires separate police permission.
  6. If you are planning to photograph check-in counters or stores, obtain separate permission from each relevant business.
  7. Since photography of aircraft or airline logos may be subject to regulations imposed by each airline company, contact the relevant airline company for information.
  8. Be sure to follow the instructions of Kansai Airports staff and security guards during your shooting.
