Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that a new sports experience event for children, titled “ITAMI Sora-Spo Kids Park,” will be hosted at Osaka Itami Airport on Saturday, 29 November 2025. This will be our first event at the airport’s south temporary parking lot. The event will offer children the
opportunity to try a wide variety of sports, including track and field and soccer. In addition, participants can experience emerging Olympic sports such as BMX and bouldering, as well as unique activities like slacklining—where balance is tested on a suspended line—and “SASSEN,” a nextgeneration digital sword sport using sensor-equipped glowing swords. Through these diverse experiences, children will be able to discover new sports and expand their interests and curiosity.
We will also have instructor-led sessions by Kiyora Shiraishi (CERESPO), bronze medalist in the men’s 4×100 m relay at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, and Yuna Miura (CERESPO), who competed in the 2025 Japan Athletics Championships.
Kansai Airports Group will continue to deliver the appeal of the airport to more people through initiatives that our customers can enjoy.
