Diverse Systems Supporting Workplace Comfort

Flextime system We have introduced a flextime system that allows eligible employees to choose their work hours according to their own work style. *1
Telework system The department in question is primarily based on in-office work, but employees may choose to work remotely if they request it and obtain approval.
Leave system (childcare leave, child nursing leave) Employees who have a child may take childcare leave until the child turns two years old at the maximum. In addition, employees who are raising children up to the age of elementary school entry may take leave to care for their children for a number of days within the scope of the regulations. *2
Caregiving leave / short-term caregiving leave Employees who have a family member in need of nursing care are entitled to take caregiving leave for a specified number of days. In addition, short-term caregiving leave may be taken as needed.
Sick leave
Sick leave bank
Five days of leave per year may be taken for personal injuries or illnesses requiring medical treatment, or when a family member needs nursing care.
In addition, the unused days can be accumulated within the stipulated limits and can be used for long-term medical treatment or when a family member needs nursing care.
Health screening subsidy Employees 35 years of age or older and their dependent spouses may receive a subsidized health screening in lieu of a regular medical checkup.
Subsidy for infectious disease prevention Kansai Airports will pay part or all of the cost of vaccinations against designated infectious diseases.
Counseling Outside counselors are available to discuss work and personal matters.
Employee cafeteria There is an employee cafeteria at Kansai International Airport, which supports the health of employees in terms of “food.”
Measures against passive smoking In principle, smoking is not permitted on the premises of the facility or indoors, and smoking rooms are provided.
Harassment response

Kansai Airports provides training for all employees on harassment and has a consultation and advisory system in place.
