・By destination, passenger numbers for China stood at 46% year-on-year, remaining well belowthe previous year for a second consecutive month. Meanwhile, routes for South Korea, Hong Kongand Macau, and Southeast Asia recorded strong growth, reaching 118% year-on-year, with manyregions significantly surpassing the previous year’s results.

Flight Movements Across Kansai International, Osaka Itami, and Kobe Airports
The number of international passenger flight movements at Kansai International Airport reached 142,753, marking 108%year‐on‐year and setting a new all‐time high for a fiscal year.*¹ International cargo flight movements totaled 18,049, whiledomestic flight movements across the three airports amounted to 215,304, remaining roughly in line with the previousyear.
Passenger Numbers Across Kansai International, Osaka Itami, and Kobe Airports
Total air passengers across the three airports reached 54.01 million, setting a new fiscal-year record.*² At KansaiInternational Airport, the number of non-Japanese passengers totaled 21.2 million, exceeding 20 million for thefirst time since the airport opened and setting a new record.*³ This strong growth in non-Japanese passengersdrove overall international passengers to 27.08 million, also marking a new record.*⁴ When including internationalpassengers at Kobe Airport, the combined total reached 27.61 million, reaching 110% year-on-year.
By destination, passenger numbers increased significantly across many regions, with routes for China rising to 111% year-on-year, Southeast Asia to 110%, and South Korea to 108%, all showing substantial growth compared with the previousfiscal year.
