Kansai Airports Group is pleased to announce the dates for the annual Sky Day events to be held at the three airports in the Kansai region.
Sky Day is a commemorative day established to foster greater public interest in and understanding of aviation. Every year, airports across Japan host a variety of events that allow visitors to experience the world of aviation and airports up close.
On each event day, participating organizations will run booths and host a wide range of airport-themed activities unique to each airport. Visitors of all ages, from children to adults, will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of airports and aviation firsthand.
Kansai Airports Group will continue to showcase the unique attractions of airports and travel through enjoyable initiatives and experiences.
Event Dates: All events are scheduled to take place from 10:00 to 16:00.
• Kansai International Airport (KIX) Sky Day Festival 2026: Saturday, 24 October 2026
• Osaka Itami Airport (ITAMI) Sky Day Airport Festival: Saturday, 3 October 2026
• Kobe Airport (UKB) Sky Day Event 2026: Sunday, 29 November 2026
Main Events:
• Merchandise sales, hands-on workshops and PR booths hosted by airport-related organizations
• Tours of airport facilities and exhibitions of specialized airport vehicles
• Stage events, including mascot greetings
