Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. will open its North Store on the 4th floor of Terminal 1 at Kansai International Airport (KIX) on Saturday, 1 August 2026.
The new store will offer a variety of services, including baggage shipping and pickup, temporary baggage storage, and baggage wrapping services that help protect suitcases and other baggage from damage and stains. Furthermore, baggage dropped off by 10:00 a.m. can be delivered on the same day (after 6:00 p.m.) to accommodation facilities, residences and other destinations in the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama prefectures). Baggage dropped off by 12:30 p.m. can be delivered the same day (after 6:00 p.m.) to accommodations in Osaka City and Kyoto City excluding some areas. In addition, passengers can also store their heavy suitcases and other large baggage items at the airport, enabling a hands-free experience while traveling, sightseeing, or spending time at the airport, and helping to make their journey more convenient and enjoyable.
