Kansai Airports Kobe is pleased to announce the Kobe Airport Morning Run (Kobe Airport Run) on Saturday 6 June 2026, a special event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of Kobe Airport.
Following last year’s event, the Kobe Airport Run will be held again this year to commemorate the milestone of Kobe Airport’s 20th anniversary. On the day of the event, participants will start in front of Kobe Airport Terminal 2 building in the early morning before the start of operations and they will be allowed to run along the taxiways and runway. This special event allows participants to enjoy running through areas of the airport that are normally closed to the public.

(1) General category 5.0 km / time limit 55 minutes / start at 4:30/ 200 participants
(2) Child & parent category 3.0 km/ time limit 40 minutes / start at 4:45/ 100 participants (50 pairs)
Eligibility：(1) 18 years or older (2) Elementary or junior high school students and their parent or guardian
Capacity: (1) 200 participants (2) 100 participants, 50 pairs (first-come first-served for both categories)
Participation fee: (1) 7,000 yen per person (tax included) (2) 7,000 yen per pair (tax included)
*Insurance and other costs included in the participation fee

Notes:
– Public transportation is not available in the early morning, therefore participants must be able to reach the airport on their own (e.g., by personal vehicle)
– An additional parking fee (¥150 per hour) will apply to those arriving by car
– A valid ID is required on the day of the event (driver’s license, My Number Card*, photo student ID) *Notification card not accepted
– The event may be modified or canceled due to severe weather or operational reasons related to facility management. (The event will proceed as scheduled in case of light rain)
