Kansai Airports has announced that a new pricing scheme will be introduced in phases for parking charge, along with a landing charge discount for international passenger flights operating at Terminal 1 (T1) of Kansai International Airport (KIX), starting Saturday, 1 November 2025.
The introduction of the new scheme aims to improve the operational efficiency of international stands at T1, thereby expanding airport capacity to accommodate the expected increase in aviation traffic. Under this scheme, parking charges will be determined based on the demand and parking time at each stand, and a new landing charge discount scheme will also be introduced.
Kansai Airports Group will continue to create new travel experiences in response to the expected increase in aviation demand.
Concept of the new scheme
・Parking charge: The billing unit, peak time and exemption time will be changed, and variable pricing according to the demand and parking time at each stand will be introduced.
・Landing charge discount: A new landing charge discount scheme will be introduced for international passenger flights at T1 in line with the revision of the parking charge unit price during peak time for international stands with passenger boarding bridge at T1 (T1 international PBB stands), aiming for efficient operation of international stands and further utilization of remote stands.
