Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that 9 Air (AQ), the premier low-cost carrier in South China, will launch two new direct flight services. One new route connecting Kansai(KIX) and Linyi(LYI) will start from June 3, 2025 and operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The other new route connecting Kansai(KIX) and Hefei (HFE) will start from 21 June 2025 and operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Linyi is situated in Shandong Province, in eastern China and this new route marks the first-ever direct flight from Kansai International Airport to the city.
These new services are expected to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the regions.
