The movements of international passenger flights were 131,867, which was 134% year-on-year and 101% compared to FY2019, marking a record high for a fiscal year since the airport opened*¹.
In addition, the movements of domestic flights at the three airports were 218,113, which was 98% yearon-year, slightly lower than FY2023’s record. The movements of international cargo flights were 17,947, which was 88% year-on-year, but still at a high level of 125% compared to FY2019.
Number of passengers at KIX, ITAMI, and KOBE:
The total number of passengers at the 3 airports reached 50.85 million, exceeding 50 million for the first time in a fiscal year, a record high*². Led by strong growth in foreign passenger traffic,
which reached a record 19.83 million for a fiscal year*³, the total number of international passengers reached a record 25.07 million for a fiscal year*⁴. The total number of domestic passengers at the three airports was 103% year-on-year. The number of passengers at KOBE reached 3.61 million, a record for a fiscal year*⁵.
