Remarkable growth in the number of passengers on INT flights

Traffic is recovering very well after the pandemic. Inbound (non-Japanese) passenger number recovered to 137% in Dec 2024. Outbound (Japanese) remained steady since few month, recovering to 66% in Dec.  A bar chart shows the transit of international passengers and inbound/outbound ratio from Apr 2023 to Dec 2024, with total recovery reaching 113%. A pie chart shows the international passenger share by foreigner nationality in Nov 2024: China mainland 25%, South Korea 26%, Southeast Asia 15%, HK/Macau 13%, Taiwan 7%, Others 14%. Inbound tourism in Kyoto for Nov 2024 shows 566,050 nights stayed by foreigners, a 105% increase compared to 2019.
