Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that AirAsia Malaysia (AK) will launch a new route connecting Kansai (KIX), Kaohsiung (KHH), and Kuala Lumpur (KUL), starting on Monday, 15 June 2026.
AirAsia Malaysia is an airline based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and this marks the airline’s first-ever service to Kansai International Airport. The new route is expected to meet growing travel demand between Japan and Taiwan. It will also further enhance connectivity between Kansai and Kuala Lumpur, driving increased demand for both leisure and business travel.
