Kansai Airports Kobe is pleased to announce the winter illumination event at Kobe Airport from 6 December 2025 to 27 February 2026.
At Kobe Airport terminals, including the observation deck, visitors will be welcomed by heart-warming décor inspired by beautifully wrapped gifts. In addition, a message board will be set up in Terminal 2, inviting travelers to freely share their thoughts for journeys departing from Kobe Airport. Together, these features create an uplifting atmosphere that sparks excitement for every trip.
Kansai Airports Group will continue to develop initiatives that allow visitors and local communities alike to enjoy the spirit of the season, delivering the charm of our airports and the joy of travel to a lot more people.

Concept:
At Kobe Airport—the gateway that connects the sky and the city—we hope every guest feels as if they are experiencing a gift delivered from the sky. For departing passengers, we express a “ribbon that wraps and sends off hopes,” and for arriving passengers, a “ribbon that ties together heartfelt welcomes,” symbolizing a gift filled with sentiments for loved ones. Through these designs, we deliver a spark of delight—an uplifting gift.

A balloon-shaped message board invites travelers to freely share their travel dreams, by writing down the places they want to go, foods to try, or sights to see, and let the journey wishes float like balloons.
