Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that it will carry out an earthquake drill at Osaka International Airport (ITAMI) on 26 November, 2025.
This drill is to raise the disaster awareness and improve disaster response capability of airport employees by confirming appropriate initial responses in the event of an earthquake in cooperation with related organizations based on Kansai Airports’ Earthquake & Tsunami BCP, under the assumption that a huge Nankai Trough earthquake (intensity 6) occurs during the daytime on a weekday.
Kansai Airports will continue to strive for securing a safe traveling environment for all airport guests.

1. Terminals in Osaka International Airport, including the restricted area
