To meet the strict requirements of airlines and airport companies and to conduct safe and secure inspections, inspectors work together to solve daily problems, exchange information with inspectors at other airports, and compete with each other to improve the skills they have honed in their daily work.<br \/>\nRunway Safety Management<br \/>\nGood runway condition is essential for safe takeoff and landing of aircraft. At the three Kansai airports, inspections and monitoring operations are conducted 24 hours a day to ensure safe aircraft operations. Specifically, we conduct in-depth safety management, including checking runways and taxiways for foreign objects and damage, inspecting aircraft for oil leaks, and ensuring that the aviation lighting system is in working order.<br \/>\nRunway Status Indicator Light System at Osaka Itami Airport<br \/>\nRunway Status Lights (RWSL) have been installed as a visual means of checking for aircraft and vehicles to prevent runway intrusion and ensure that aircraft and passengers can use Osaka Itami Airport in safety and with confidence.<br \/>\nOsaka Itami Airport Overview Runway Status Lights<br \/>\nThis is an automatic control system that aids safe aircraft operations by using lit and unlit visual navigation aids.
