\nAt the World Airport Awards 2024, an international airport evaluation conducted by Skytrax, a British airline services research company, Kansai International Airport was awarded first place in the “World’s Best Airport for Baggage Delivery.”<\/p>\n
The “World’s Best Airport for Baggage Delivery” award recognizes airports for their waiting time for baggage pickup, efficiency of baggage delivery, and handling of lost baggage. This is the eighth time Kansai International Airport has won the award. The record of zero lost baggage since the opening of the airport is a result of the daily efforts of the everyone involved, including airport staff, airlines, and ground handling companies.<\/p>\n
Kansai International Airport was ranked 7th in the “World’s Best Airport in Asia” category and 4th in the “World’s Best Airports by Passenger Number (20-50 million passengers)” category. Additionally, Osaka Itami Airport was ranked 4th in the “World’s Best Domestic Airport” category.<\/p>\n

\nThere are multifunctional toilets in various parts of the airport that can be used by anyone, including passengers in wheelchairs and people with physical disabilities, as well as facilities equipped with ostomates.

Services in a variety of languages and cultures

\nThe airport is a facility used by people with various languages and cultures.<\/p>\n
Kansai International Airport displays signs and menus in five languages (Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean). In addition, pictograms are used to indicate signs and ingredients, as an effort to convey the meaning even without letters.<\/p>\n
There are also Halal certified restaurants that serve dishes cooked according to Islamic law, so you can travel with peace of mind.<\/p>\n
The hotel in the airport also has guest rooms for Muslims to spend a comfortable time.<\/p>\n
