Terms of Use: Kansai Airports Group Social Media

Kansai Airports and Kansai Airports Group Companies (hereafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby establish the terms of use as follows (hereafter referred to as the “terms of use”) in order to realize valuable communication with users in operating the Company’s official social media account (hereafter referred to as the “Company’s official account”). The terms of use shall be established as common terms within the Group.

Scope of application
The terms of use shall apply to all users of the Company’s official account.
Operation Policies
1. Note that the information distributed by the Company through the Company’s official account does not always constitute the Company’s official announcements and opinions. The Company’s official announcements are posted on its official website and made through news releases.
2. Note that the Company does not view or reply to all comments and information posted on the Company’s official account.
3. The operation of the Company’s official account may be terminated without notice.
Disclaimer
1. The Company shall not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any information posted on the Company’s official account in the service. The Company shall assume no responsibility for all users’ acts committed with the use of information obtained through the Company’s official account.
2. The Company shall assume no responsibility for any dispute arising between users or between/among users and any third parties in connection with the Company’s official account.
3. In addition to the above, the Company shall assume no responsibility for any damages arising from matters related to information obtained through the Company’s official account.
Prohibited acts and violation
Please refrain from posting the following information on the Company’s official account. The Company may claim damages against a user if the said user causes damage to the Company by violating the terms of use. If information posted by users falls under the scope of any of the following items, the Company may delete such information without notice. Moreover, the Company may take other necessary measures at its own discretion.
1. Acts of posting personal information or similar information, or acts equivalent thereto
2. Acts that infringe or may infringe the rights or assets of the Company, or acts that damage or may damage the reputation or credibility of the Company, other users, or third parties.
3. Acts that infringe all or any part(s) of the copyrights, portrait rights, or intellectual property rights of the Company, other users, or third parties.
4. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morality, or acts of posting information and photos etc. related to such acts
5. Acts of assuming the disguise of other users (including the Company’s official account) or third parties (spoofing)
6. Acts of posting protected confidential information
7. Acts of utilizing the Company’s intellectual property without the prior written consent of the Company
8. Advertisement, promotion, or acts undertaken for commercial purposes
9. Acts of modifying any information distributed by the Company
10. Acts of posting information that contains harmful, immoral, violent, or discriminatory content, or information that is associated with or leads to such content
11. Acts that violate the terms of use established by each social media operating company
12. Other acts deemed to be inappropriate by the Company
Treatment of intellectual property rights
In using the Company’s official account, users shall transfer the copyrights to all information and content transmitted to the Company via emails, etc., or posted on the website to the Company without charge, and users shall not exercise moral rights regarding the use of the said information or content by the Company.
Copyrights
Information posted on the Company’s official account is protected by the copyright act and other laws. Unauthorized reproduction, excluding private use and acts permitted by the copyright act (such as quotation and citation), by users shall be prohibited.
Handling of personal information
Personal information shall be appropriately handled based on the privacy policy established by the Company.
Link to the Company’s official account
The following matters shall be observed if users add a link to the Company’s official account. If any violation of any of the following items is identified, we may refuse to allow users to add link(s) and/or ask them to remove link(s).
1. Users are allowed to add a link to the Company’s official account only for the purpose of enhancing the convenience of users who visit the Company’s official account. Users shall not be allowed to add links for commercial purposes.
2. Users should use the URL of the top page of the Company’s official account as a link destination.
3. We do not allow users to add any links that display the content of the Company’s official account in combination with other content. Moreover, even if the content of the Company’s official account is displayed independently, if it is displayed as a part of another social media site, users shall be prohibited from adding links. Be sure to add links in a way such that the Company’s official account is displayed in a new pop-up window and browser.
4. Users are prohibited from using any logo or title design provided in the Company’s official account in any other social media site as a link button, etc. If users add a link to the Company’s official account, clearly state the Company’s official account name. Do not state only “Kanku,” as it may give misleading information regarding information provider.
5. We firmly refuse any links from social media sites if they fall under the scope of any of the following items.
  ① Social media sites that contain content that slanders or libels the Company or any third party, or damages the credibility or reputation of the Company or any third party.
  ② Social media sites that infringe the Company’s or any third party’s copyrights, trademark rights, or other rights
  ③ Social media sites that are deemed to be inappropriate by the Company, as they may damage the Company’s social credibility or the Company’s image.
The Company shall not guarantee the content of social media sites that include link(s) to the Company’s official account, and the Company shall assume no responsibility for any damages caused by the use of any such sites.

Moreover, the aforementioned shall not mean that companies that operate the said social media sites and the Company have a special relationship, or that the Company recommends the products or services provided by such companies. When using such social media, confirm their respective terms and conditions of use.

In principle, the Company shall not add a link to any other social media site in the Company’s official account.
Changes to the terms of use
The Company may change the terms of use without prior notice. In such case, the terms of use after the change shall be effective as of the date displayed on the Company’s website or the Company’s official account, unless otherwise specified by the Company.
