Kansai Airports

One Eco-Airport Plan

Kansai Airports Group has developed a new five-year Environmental Plan (2018- 2022) to further accelerate its integrated efforts to reduce the environmental footprints at the three airports in the Kansai region: Kansai International Airport (KIX), Osaka International Airport (ITAMI) and Kobe Airport (KOBE). This five-year plan, covering all three airports, encompasses the following four pillars:

  • Response to climate change
  • Resource usage
  • Harmonious coexistence with the surrounding environment
  • Environmental management

Under these pillars, specific strategic goals and tasks are defined to serve as performance indicators for our future activities.
Kansai Airports Group is committed to strengthen its efforts to reduce environmental impacts, to fulfil its social responsibilities and to tackle environmental issues on a local and global scale.
